Adjusting

I have had to adjust to a lot of changes since the virus. Not being able to go to the stores, can’t go buy things for the summer unless it’s online, can’t go to restaurants. We can’t do a lot of things but I always find ways to entertain myself. I’m taking the change, I think better than a lot of people.

To me nothing has changed really except everything is closed and school and football is canceled. Besides that I do the same thing I usually do. I still go outside, I still can go places, we can’t go inside but it’s something to do.

One of the biggest changes to me is working and making money. Everything is still not open so it’s hard to find employment. I have been saving my money for a long time now because of this. I have nothing I want to buy cause there is nothing open. No matter how much I want to spend money on junk, and other things I want but do not need I just don’t get it at all.

It’s hard to maintain money if you’re spending it on things you don’t need and can’t go to work to make more. It’s hard for me because it’s my birthday this month. I want to go out and have fun, and be able to go out to eat with my friends and family. So now we will just have to have a barbeque and kick it at the house.

I have spent my time waking up early at around 9:30 or 10:00 and doing a workout in front of my house on a little patch of grass. I have seen on YouTube ceedee lamb and more receivers doing workouts and decided to make my own. I spend about an hour and 30 minutes outside every morning doing a little bit of different things everyday. I saw some things on bleacher Report about football players doing workouts at home too. They have a way bigger residence than I do but I make sure I get the work done still.

My granny is feeling a lot better since surgery and she is walking a lot more now. I’m glad I was around because she needed more help from me than anyone else because she doesn’t get to see me. My way of seeing her is doing anything she needs me to, helping in anyway I can. Make her something to eat, bring her something to drink, and help her up, something that my little sister can’t always do. My granny is everything to me. I can’t lose her or have her think she lost me. I stay positive everyday because of her and I work hard because of her. She motivates me to do better in anything I can do and do today. The virus has its bad but I make good off bad situations because I always expect the unexpected. I always find alternatives to help get through this. Most of my teachers have supported me during this time helping me on a lot of things and getting me caught back up on things. I can say without there help I’ll probably be more behind and I couldn’t have needed them more. The virus has taught me a lot and I will continue to grow, and learn.
